Mariah Carey has recorded 19 No. 1 songs, more than any other solo artist in Billboard Hot 100 history. She became an immediate sensation with her 1990 self-titled debut album thanks to her five-octave range and popular love ballads. By the end of the decade, Carey had released the diamond-certified albums Music Box and Daydream. The five-time Grammy winner now stands as one of the most commercially successful artists of all time with more than 200 million albums sold worldwide. Her hit songs include “Vision of Love,” “Hero,” “One Sweet Day” with Boyz II Men, “We Belong Together,” and the modern holiday classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
Mariah Carey’s highly anticipated 16th studio album and her first since 2018’s Caution. Blending pop, R&B, gospel, and hip-hop, this bold new project celebrates every era of Mariah’s iconic sound while introducing fresh collaborations and modern influences.
Mariah confirmed plans for a Glitter 25th Anniversary release. To celebrate the milestone of her 2001 soundtrack and film, Carey’s team is preparing a deluxe reissue, remastered music videos, and more.
Daydream: 30th Anniversary Edition is available digitally here. The anniversary edition features unreleased bonus tracks, fan favorites, live performances, classic remixes and features a new remix of “Underneath the Stars” produced by Eric Kupper. Additionally, available to the public for the first time are rare writing demos — excerpts from Mariah Carey’s original songwriting sessions for “Melt Away,” co-written and co-produced with Babyface, and “I Am Free,” co-written and co-produced with Walter Afanasieff.
“The Lambily” is the name of Mariah’s fans. The name is a combination of Lamb and Family, which means to be a group of Mariah fans. The term began during the late 90s and has been a term of endearment ever since.
